NOTE this year the organisers have imposed a fee per vehicle displayed of £5 which must be paid to our treasurer so that a total payment can be sent by the closing date. \nBVAC will be allocated club display space in the auto-jumble field which has no age limit on vehicles displayed\, making this show open to any of our members. This show has limited space so entries ASAP please. \n\n\n\n\nStarted in 1998\, by the Scottish Rootes Enthusiasts\, the Moffat car rally has grown to become one of the biggest 2 day classic car events in Scotland. Set in the beautiful Moffat hills\, the rally is an incredible place to both exhibit your cherished classic or vintage motor car and is a wonderful visitor experience. \nThe rally accommodates 900 entries some of which come hundreds of miles to participate. This 2 day event has a drive through the Moffat hills on the Saturday which is a glorious sight and Sunday is the main gathering in the Moffat showground\, with a large display of classic cars\, auto-jumble/trade stands and children’s entertainment. The Car Rally has been a fabulous connection with the town of Moffat. DESCRIPTION:Northumberland Vintage Tractor Club – NVTC Brunton\nClosing date for online entry forms is Friday 15 September 2023\nOn tarmac at old Brunton airfield\, Northumberland. \n\n This is a well attended classic car show which is on the Sunday of this 2 day event. \nIt all started in the early 1970s.  A small group of local farmers were sitting in the pub talking about old tractors and farming machinery that they had used in the past and how different it was to the present day. \n     A lot of this old machinery at the end of its life\, was just left in the back of the barn or out of the way in the dark depths of the farm yard.  It was decided after several more pints to dig out the old gear and restore it back to working order\, so\, over the next few months and when time permitted\, the tyres were pumped up and the old machines were brought out of retirement. \n    The use of a local field was obtained\, and the date set for what they all thought would be just a few people playing on their old tractors and machinery. However\, somehow word got out\, and quite a few people turned up to watch the events of the day. \n   It was around this time that the vintage movement\, as we know it today\, was starting to get off the ground\, and it was decided to hold a rally of our own and the Northumberland Vintage Tractor Club was born.  It has grown over the years to become the success it is today.\nThis is an old favourite show with BVAC members. DESCRIPTION:Newhailes Classic Car Show\n\n\n\nClosing date for entries now confirmed: TUESDAY 20th JUNE – last day for members to submit online entry form. (no entry fee)\nEvent open to the public from 10.00am – 4.00pm\nNewhailes House and Estate\, located on the outskirts of Musselburgh\, is owned by the Scottish National Trust and this Classic Car & Transport Show was first held last year during a pause in the then Covid restrictions. The show was a great success from the BVAC point of view\, attracting almost 30 cars to our club display stand. DESCRIPTION:Moffat Classic Car Rally – ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED (No Entry Fee)\n   \nExpression of interest requested for our BVAC club stand at the Moffat car show held on Sunday 25th June. BVAC will be allocated club display space for a number of cars yet to be defined in the auto-jumble field which includes Post- 1990 cars\, making this show open to many more of our members. This show has limited space so entries ASAP please! Any prior individual entries please notify DF if you would like to join the club stand. \n\n\n\n\nStarted in 1998\, by the Scottish Rootes Enthusiasts\, the Moffat car rally has grown to become one of the biggest 2 day classic car events in Scotland. Set in the beautiful Moffat hills\, the rally is an incredible place to both exhibit your cherished classic or vintage motor car and is a wonderful visitor experience. \nThe rally accommodates 900 entries some of which come hundreds of miles to participate. This 2 day event has a drive through the Moffat hills on the Saturday which is a glorious sight and Sunday is the main gathering in the Moffat showground\, with a large display of classic cars\, auto-jumble/trade stands and childrens entertainment. \nClassic car fans and many of the entrants will be travelling from Europe\, some down from the Shetland Isles\, many from Northern Ireland\, Wales as well as Kent\, Cornwall and Dorset to take part in this amazing 2 day event. \nThe Car Rally has been a fabulous connection with the town of Moffat. DESCRIPTION:21 May 2023 (No Entry Fee)\nClub Stand Entries NOW OPEN\n\n \n  \n \n \n \n\n\n\nThis is always a popular show held at the Border Events Centre (BEC) in Springwood Park \, Kelso.  \nNOTE: Closing date for entries to the club stand is Wednesday 26th April 2023. Free entry to classic car show with no restrictions on age or type of classic\, but space is limited and early entry required as closing date is only 3 weeks away.
