DESCRIPTION:BVAC meets informally on the second Sunday of every month throughout the year at Milestone Garden Centre\, Newtown St. Boswells. \nWe meet from 10am until midday or thereabouts and there is always a good number of Classics covering a wide variety of marques and ages.\nPerhaps you have come across the Club before\, maybe at our annual summer show at Thirlestane Castle or at one of the many Shows we attend as a Club during the season. Always thought of getting in touch but not done it yet? Our Breakfast meets are an ideal way of dropping in on us informally and having a chat. Everyone is welcome whatever you drive. Lots of people to offer advice or just be friendly with no obligation. \nSo why not join us on the second Sunday morning this month? \nWinter motoring? Not too many Classics about? Don’t you believe it! Lots of our members keep their cars and interesting modern Classics going throughout the year. DESCRIPTION:Earlston Rugby Club Sunday 15th November 2026\, from 7:00pm Hosted by Rob Jenner and Letitia Mace\nRob and Letitia are well known in the BVAC and particularly in the Jaguar owners world and we have persuaded them to give club members a talk on their experiences in the motoring world. \nThe evening will start with tea & coffee on arrival with the first presentation starting at 7.30pm\, when Letitia will tell us why Xclusively Jaguar was set up\, her involvement in running the club and what it is for and how both Letitia and Rob can help members. \nA short break with more tea & coffee available will then be followed by Rob’s own presentation of the stories behind his car ownership from his younger days in Coventry to where he is now and the many ups and downs in between. \nThis will be followed by a question and answer session. \nIt is sure to be an interesting and entertaining evening to which all members are invited without the need to register an attendance form. Turn up and support the BVAC and in particular Rob & Letitia as we hope to persuade other members to put on future presentations on their ownership\, collection or restoration of their cars. \n  \n

SUMMARY:Garage visit to The Car Cave Bonnyrigg
DESCRIPTION:Visit to The Car Cave Bonnyrigg Saturday 28th November 2026 11am to 2pm\nAllan Potts\, the owner of The Car Cave in Bonnyrigg has agreed to host a club members visit to his business on Saturday 28th November and is staying on at work that extra hour from 1pm till 2pm to allow us all to see both the garage and car sales opeeration. \nThis is a visit to a fully working garage operation that specialise in the service\, repair and even restoration of cars but in particular Fords. We will be able to have a look around of the whole operation and discuss with Allan all that happens throughout his business. The Car Cave also buy and sell classic cars and have many vehicles available for sale which we will be able to see on the premises. Many of the classic Fords are sourced from South Africa as they are right hand drive as  standard\, and Allan and his team can help with all aspects of locating\, import and registration requirements. \nThere is no catering on site but the National Mining Museum is close by and has an excellent café so anyone can go along and purchase any food or refreshment they want.
