DESCRIPTION:Look forward to a fabulous display of classic cars courtesy of the NECPWA (North of England Classic and Pre-War Automobiles) at Etal Showground\, 11:00-16:00. This show has limited space so entries ASAP please. \n\n\n\n\nStarted in 1998\, by the Scottish Rootes Enthusiasts\, the Moffat car rally has grown to become one of the biggest 2 day classic car events in Scotland. Set in the beautiful Moffat hills\, the rally is an incredible place to both exhibit your cherished classic or vintage motor car and is a wonderful visitor experience. \nThe rally accommodates 900 entries some of which come hundreds of miles to participate. This 2 day event has a drive through the Moffat hills on the Saturday which is a glorious sight and Sunday is the main gathering in the Moffat showground\, with a large display of classic cars\, auto-jumble/trade stands and children’s entertainment. The Car Rally has been a fabulous connection with the town of Moffat. DESCRIPTION:Trip Update \nWe are now taking our Drive-it-Day run from Kelso Square to visit the Belford Car Show in the late morning\, followed by afternoon tea in Wooler\, having confirmed a booking with the Canny Owl Restaurant & Bar. \nWe will travel the back roads from Kelso via Mindrummill\, Millfield\, Kimmerston\, Lowick\, Fenwick\, and Detchant to arrive at the Belford Car Show around midday. After a couple of hours looking round the show we will leave Belford to go to Wooler and the Canny Owl where I have estimated our arrival between 2.30pm and 3.00pm ready for afternoon teas. Departure from Wooler will be at your own time and to make your own way home. DESCRIPTION:Carhailes 14th September 2025\nNewhailes House\, Mussleburgh\nClassic Car Show\nEvent open to the public from 10.00am – 4.00pm\n\n\n\nNewhailes House and Estate\, located on the outskirts of Musselburgh\, is owned by the Scottish National Trust and this Classic Car & Transport Show has now been re-introduced after a short break for work at the estate. The show was a great success from the BVAC point of view\, attracting almost 30 cars to our club display stand. DESCRIPTION:Moffat Classic Car Rally – 29 June 2025\nEntries closing date now 25th May 2025\nEntry Fee £5 per car paid to club stand organiser on the day.\n   \nApplications for the BVAC club stand at the Moffat car show held on Sunday 30th June should be made using the attached form. NOTE this year the organisers have imposed a fee per vehicle displayed of £5 which must be paid to our treasurer so that a total payment can be sent by the closing date. \nBVAC will be allocated club display space in the auto-jumble field which has no age limit on vehicles displayed\, making this show open to any of our members. This show has limited space so entries ASAP please. \n\n\n\n\nStarted in 1998\, by the Scottish Rootes Enthusiasts\, the Moffat car rally has grown to become one of the biggest 2 day classic car events in Scotland. Set in the beautiful Moffat hills\, the rally is an incredible place to both exhibit your cherished classic or vintage motor car and is a wonderful visitor experience. \nThe rally accommodates 900 entries some of which come hundreds of miles to participate. This 2 day event has a drive through the Moffat hills on the Saturday which is a glorious sight and Sunday is the main gathering in the Moffat showground\, with a large display of classic cars\, auto-jumble/trade stands and children’s entertainment. The Car Rally has been a fabulous connection with the town of Moffat. DESCRIPTION:Jim Clark Trust Anniversary Weekend at Duns Castle 28th and 29th June 2025 – Entries closed\nNOTICE: We are advised that club parking will be in the main car park in an allocated spot.\nEntry to the event is by ticket only at £12.50 pre-purchased online or £15.00 on the gate.\nA fantastic event being organised in celebration of the 1965 Championship year when Jim Clark won Formula 1\, Indianapolis\, Formula 2 UK\, Formula 2 Europe\, Formula 2 Tasman and was the current British Saloon Car Champion. \nThere will be a large gathering of the Mk 1 Lotus Cortina and many of the Lotus racing cars that Jim Clark actually drove including the 1965 Indianapolis winning Lotus Type 38\, many of which will be taken on demonstration runs along the castle’s driveway. There will be many stands and displays as well as food and coffee stalls\, with activities being run throughout the weekend.
