SUMMARY:2023 BVAC Classic
DESCRIPTION:Set in the beautiful grounds of Thirlestane Castle\, in the Scottish Borders\, the BVAC Classic is the premier classic car show for all the family\, in Scotland. \nIt combines over 1\,000 wonderful classic and vintage cars\, with fabulous Scottish food\, drink\, retail and displays\, making it a wonderful day out for the whole family. \nNow in its 51st year\, the event – proudly organised by the Borders Vintage Automobile Club – has grown from strength to strength\, gaining recognition from The Sunday Times as ‘One of the top ten motoring events in the UK’. \nIn 2023\, the event will take place on Sunday 18th June\, which also happens to be Father’s Day! It will once again feature some of the finest veteran\, vintage and classic cars from across the country\, as well as kid’s activities\, stunt displays\, a retail village and of course\, plenty of lovely food and drink stops to keep you fuelled throughout the day! \n  \n\nTickets for PUBLIC ADMISSION are available HERE \n  \n  \n\n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:Moffat Classic Car Rally
DESCRIPTION:Moffat Classic Car Rally – ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED (No Entry Fee)\n   \nExpression of interest requested for our BVAC club stand at the Moffat car show held on Sunday 25th June. BVAC will be allocated club display space for a number of cars yet to be defined in the auto-jumble field which includes Post- 1990 cars\, making this show open to many more of our members. This show has limited space so entries ASAP please! Any prior individual entries please notify DF if you would like to join the club stand. \n\n\n\n\nStarted in 1998\, by the Scottish Rootes Enthusiasts\, the Moffat car rally has grown to become one of the biggest 2 day classic car events in Scotland. Set in the beautiful Moffat hills\, the rally is an incredible place to both exhibit your cherished classic or vintage motor car and is a wonderful visitor experience. \nThe rally accommodates 900 entries some of which come hundreds of miles to participate. This 2 day event has a drive through the Moffat hills on the Saturday which is a glorious sight and Sunday is the main gathering in the Moffat showground\, with a large display of classic cars\, auto-jumble/trade stands and childrens entertainment. \nClassic car fans and many of the entrants will be travelling from Europe\, some down from the Shetland Isles\, many from Northern Ireland\, Wales as well as Kent\, Cornwall and Dorset to take part in this amazing 2 day event. \nThe Car Rally has been a fabulous connection with the town of Moffat.
