From Edinburgh, take the A68 south towards Jedburgh and follow the event signage on approach to Lauder. From the south, take the A68 or A697 north and follow the event signage on approach to Lauder.
Borders Railway services run from Edinburgh Waverley to Stow (around 50 minutes) and Tweedbank. Stow is about 10 minutes from the castle by taxi, Tweedbank around 20 minutes.
Borders Buses service 51 runs between Edinburgh Bus Station and Lauder, with a journey time of around 1 hour 10 minutes. The castle is a short walk from the town centre.
Edinburgh Airport is the nearest airport, around an hour’s drive away. Newcastle International Airport is a good option for visitors from the south.
