We are delighted to announce that Thompson Quarries will be returning as an official sponsor of this year’s BVAC Classic on Sunday 2nd June, at Thirlestane Castle.

The family run company, based in Dunbartonshire, have been stalwart members of the Scottish business community, providing reliable quarry and landfill services throughout Scotland for over 70 years.

This will be the third year of Thompson Quarries association with the event, having supported it last year, and also the Sir Jackie Stewart Classic in 2022. Their backing is extremely valuable to the events success, as BVAC Chairman, Keith Watson, explains:

“It’s fantastic to have Thompson Quarries joining us once again as an Official Sponsor. Their support is incredibly important to the BVAC Classic, as it gives us the confidence to forward plan and really invest in evolving the event, which we hope will be reflected in an even better visitor experience this year; be that through having a bigger stewarding team on hand to help with a more seamless entry into the event, to expanded arena stunt displays to provide more entertainment for our visitors.”

Commenting on the continuation of the partnership, Andrew Thompson, Director at Thompson Quarries said:

“We are delighted to be supporting the BVAC Classic Festival of Motoring once again. Last year’s event was fantastic, with all the traditional charm of the BVAC Classic mixed with some new developments, like the rally stage, that helped to make it a really brilliant family day out. We’re really proud to be able to support this great celebration of motoring and to help the BVAC to continuously evolve the show experience.”
