We are delighted to once again take part in the national Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs initiative to get those cars out and about again for another seasons activities.
Our route will take us south taking in roads which we have not used before! The first stop will be the planned village of Newcastleton where there are several refreshment opportunities. Leaving Newcastleton it is up into the wilds heading due west to the “Muckle Toon” before following the meandering River Esk to Eskdalemuir. B roads will then take us past the Samye Ling Tibetan Centre and on to our finish venue at The Woll Golf Club where a variety of food and drink options will be available for purchase. Sandwiches to full cooked meals will be available.
We would ask that you patronise our finish venue for food and refreshments as we would like to go back to them for future events!!!!
The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs’ Drive It Day encourages members of the 500-plus clubs who support the FBHVC, plus other historic vehicle enthusiasts to use yesteryears two, three, four or more wheeled vehicles for a day, to celebrate the UK’s transport heritage at its finest.
